You are purchasing a PROGRAMMING SERVICE. You must send us your module(s) to be programmed. You are NOT buying a replacement ISM/DSM unit from us.

The Problem:

Is your Mercedes-Benz stuck in Park? Does it refuse to shift gears? Are you seeing "Drive Authorization" errors or "Vehicle not in P" messages on your dash? The ISM (Intelligent Servo Module) or DSM (Direct Select Module) is a common failure point on modern Mercedes vehicles.

New units from the dealer are expensive and require online programming. Used units cannot be simply plugged in because they are "Vin-Locked" to the previous car.

Our Solution:

We offer two solutions depending on your situation:

OPTION 1: CLONING (Recommended - Plug & Play)

• Best for: When you have bought a used replacement unit and you still have your original (broken) unit.

• The Process: We read the Data (SCN coding, Immobilizer data, VIN) from your original broken unit and write it onto your used replacement unit.

• The Result: You plug the replacement unit back into your car, and it starts and shifts immediately. No SCN coding or dealer tools required.

• Requirement: You must send us BOTH the Original and Replacement modules.

OPTION 2: VIRGINIZING / RENEW

• Best for: When your original unit is missing, completely destroyed (unreadable), or you are a repair shop with Star Diagnosis tools.

• The Process: We wipe the "Vin-Lock" and security data from your used replacement unit, resetting it to a "factory new" state.

• The Result: The unit is ready to be installed, but YOU MUST PROGRAM IT to the vehicle using a diagnostic scanner (Autel, Star DAS/Xentry) to teach it the drive authorization system.

• Requirement: You only need to send us the Replacement module.

How It Works:

1. Buy It Now: Purchase this service listing.

2. Prepare Your Shipment:

• If Cloning: Pack your Original AND Replacement units.

• If Virginizing: Pack your Replacement unit.

3. Include a Note: Inside the box, please write:

• Your eBay Username.

• Your Contact Phone Number.

• CLEARLY STATE: "Please CLONE" or "Please VIRGINIZE".

4. Ship It: Send the package to the address provided after payment. (We recommend using a tracked service).

5. We Process It: We usually complete the work within 24 hours of receiving the package and ship it back to you via the shipping method selected at checkout.

Important Notes:

• Communication is Key: If you do not include a note specifying which service you want, we will attempt to CLONE by default if two units are sent. If only one unit is sent, we will VIRGINIZE it.

• Hardware Health: We do not repair the mechanical gears or motors inside the ISM. We assume the replacement unit you are sending us is mechanically sound. We are handling the Software/Security transfer only.

• Water Damage: If your original unit has severe water damage/corrosion, we may not be able to read the data for cloning. In this case, we will Virginize your replacement unit so you can have it coded at a shop.
